Darla has an exceptional personality and is a nice doe. She has great brisket extension,  beautiful rear leg angularity, a nice topline (the picture above doesn't showcase that well), and good attachments. The other things I really like about Darla are her tight toes and body capacity for her rather small frame. She did well on milk test for her first year, 2021, especially, since I only milked my does once a day and intermittently, at times. She milks out well and has great rear udder height. Her daughter Lacey was retained for 2020 and was shown for 2021. Her first show out as a yearling she won her Jr. Grand Champion leg and shocked us both by winning Best Junior Doe-in-Show!! We were absolutely thrilled! She did not attend anymore shows for the rest of the year as she was bred by the next several show dates. Darla's daughters were also retained for 2021 and both have been shown. They have done well in the show ring with both placing in the upper half of their class in every show they attended among competitive junior does, many times placing in the top 4 in different rings at several shows. Daisy even received a reserve junior champion win for 2022! Darla's lines contain Buffalo Clover genetics which is a slower to mature line, so I am really looking forward to seeing what she looks like as a 3rd or even 4th freshener.

Desiree's pedigree is very nice and contains multiple champions on both sides. She stands strong on her feet and legs and is deep and wide through the chest floor. She has great length of body and a nice level topline. I appreciate Desiree's fore udder, as it well attached and snug to the body. Her udder is very capacious, very pliable, she milks out really well, and has great attachments. The other noticeable attribute of Desiree's is her lovely brisket. She was the first breeding stock doe we bought and I really love this doe for many reasons. Desiree is on the taller side, measuring in at 22" (unofficially). Her daughter, Blondie, that we have shown has done very well in the show ring and is a gorgeous doe.

10/16/2021 - 2:30 PM - 3 (2 does (1 doe DOA), 1 buck), did not have a witnessed breeding date for her this time. Assisted kidding as first doe kid was coming out tail first, next kid was back feet first, and last kid was positioned correctly and came out fine. First doe kid was DOA.

Fawn freshened for the first time with a beautiful udder. Her attachments were very nice for a first freshener, her teat size was good, medial was nice, udder shape, and her capacity were all very nice, so I knew she had a lot of potential. Fawns second freshening is really were I saw her true potential become reality. When she was on official milk test for spring of 2021, she was being milked (most of time) once a day. About a few months into her lactation, when I really let her fill up, I saw just how well her udder collapses down. Her medial got stronger and teat sized was improved with her second lactation. Fawn really has matured into a very nice doe. Her daughters have done very well in the show ring and on milk test thus far.

Felicia is a beautiful doe that did very well in the show ring as a yearling milker. She has excellent attachments and narrowly missed obtaining her milk star on a one day test by .2 of an ounce for milk weight. She made the butterfat and protein cutoff, but needed the milk weight to star on the one day test.  She had one gorgeous single doeling for 2022, so I anticipate that with a second freshening and more kids she will no doubt be able to get her milk star. The appraiser for LA really liked her and said given more maturity, she will grow into her brisket and she should mature to be an excellent doe.  She just needs some time, so we will give her that because this doe is going places!

Ginger's pedigree includes multiple champions with her sire's lines containing Buffalo Clover Valentino on both sides. She had a single doeling for 2021. She was also on milk test for the first time this year and did really well. In two tests, she was projected to produce 839 lbs of milk, 46 lbs of butterfat, and 33 lbs of protein based a 305 lactation. What I really loved about her FF udder was it's ability to milk down so well, her teat size was great, her udder texture was nice and smooth, and her orifices were nice and big allowing the milk to stream out. Ginger also stands strong on her feet and legs.
