Blondie has done well on milk test, but that comes as no surprise as her mother, Desiree, was a 4+ lb milker. Blondie is one of the biggest framed and deepest does I have in the entire herd. Consequently, she did measure OH at her first LA session in 2024, but only by a hair at 1/4 inch. However, that could be debated considering she made it into 4 show rings in 2024 as well. At any rate, she will stay in my herd as this is not a big deal to me as she brings forth many other qualities and attributes to the table that I appreciate. Darla has great brisket extension, beautiful rear leg angularity, exceptional body depth and good attachments. All of Darla's progeny that we have shown have done well in the show ring, many times placing in the upper half of their respective classes in almost every show they have attended. In addition to that, her granddaughters and grandsons that have been shown have also done very well in the ring. Darla makes for a great brood doe as she milks well and passes on her amazing body capacity to her offspring along with her dairy strength, level back, and beautiful head.
